Delicious, hearty and high-calorie soup with red beans and bacon.
Ingredients
Water - 700 g
Red beans - 1 glass
Potatoes - 200 g
Bacon - 100 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoons
Flour - 1 tbsp.
Lean oil - 1 tbsp.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Parsley and dill - a few twigs

Prepare all the ingredients you need to make Polish bean soup. Peel the onions, carrots, potatoes and garlic, wash under running water along with beans and herbs.
Pour the beans with plenty of cold water, put on the stove, bring to a boil. Then add a little baking soda, so the beans will cook in about 30-40 minutes, without having to pre-soak them overnight.
At this time, heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a pan, fry finely diced onion and finely chopped carrots in it.
Add finely chopped dry-cured bacon, fry for another 2 minutes.
Pass the garlic through a press, place in the pan along with the tomato sauce and flour.
Pour in some water, stir.
The water after boiling the red beans will be almost black, it must be drained, rinsed under running water. Remember to rinse the pan.
Pour clean water into a saucepan, add beans and small diced potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes.
When the potatoes are ready, transfer the contents of the pan to a saucepan, cook for no longer than 5 minutes. Scrape off excess fat from the surface, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Chop fresh herbs, add to soup, stir and turn off the stove immediately. Cover the pan with a lid, let it brew for 10 minutes.
Polish bean soup is ready. Pour it into portions and serve. It is delicious and aromatic. Recommend.
