This quick and tasty trout soup is perfect for baby food. Such a soup can be cooked both from a steak or fillet, and from the tail, ridge and head of a trout. Various cereals can be used for the soup. In my opinion, rice is perfect.
Peel the fish from the scales and wash under cold water. If you use a fish head for the broth, then remove the gills first, otherwise the broth will turn out to be bitter.
Dip the fish in a pot of cold water and heat. Bring to a boil, remove the froth, reduce heat, add a little salt and cook for 20 minutes.
While the fish is cooking, peel and wash the vegetables. Finely chop the onion.
Fry the onion until soft in a little vegetable oil.
Chop the greens.
When the fish is cooked, remove from the broth and cool. Remove the bones. Strain the broth, pour back into the saucepan and put on fire.
Cut the potatoes in the usual way.
Add washed rice and potatoes to the boiling broth. Cook over medium heat until tender.
At the end of cooking, add fried onions, herbs and pieces of boiled fish. Season the soup to taste. Add bay leaves and other spices as desired.
Turn off the heat, cover the pot and let the soup sit.
