Silver carp fish - 300 grams (3 portions, ready to use);

Silver carp is not a very bony fish, but it still contains small bones. Silver carp meat is white, tender, tasty, and ear made from silver carp pieces is also tasty, rich and transparent. You can add rice or semolina to such an ear, but I prefer the option with only potatoes.

To cook silver carp fish soup, take silver carp, peel the fish from scales, entrails, rinse and cut into pieces, one per serving. We also need potatoes, water, carrots, onions, salt, black pepper, bay leaves, parsley or dill.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, rinse, transfer to a saucepan and add water. Boil the potatoes until soft, salt with water.

Add portioned pieces of silver carp to almost finished potatoes.

Along with the silver carp, add finely grated carrots and a quarter of the peeled onion to the pan.

Cook the fish soup until the fish is ready, first on medium, and then, after boiling, over low heat (about 7-10 minutes).

Remove the onion from the pan, discard, and add bay leaf, black pepper and chopped herbs (parsley, dill, or both) to the ear. Turn off the fire and let the silver carp ear steep for 10 minutes before serving.
