Delicious and aromatic fish soup from any fish to your taste. This time I cooked pink salmon from the head and tail.
Ingredients
Head and tail of pink salmon - 500 g
Pearl barley - 4 tablespoons (75 g)
Potatoes - 2 pcs. (225 g)
Onions - 1 pc. (120 g)
Carrots - 1 pc. (145 g)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
Green onions - 25 g
Dill - 10 g
Parsley - 15 g
Water - 2 l

Step by step recipe with photos and videos
Fish soup with barley can be prepared, probably, with almost any fish to your taste. I used the head, tail and ridge of pink salmon, i.e. what is left after cutting it. You can also take fish fillets, it will be even easier to prepare, since you do not have to fiddle with bones. You also don't have to cook the broth separately, you just need to put the fish fillet in the middle of cooking vegetables and barley. But I love waste-free production, so I try to use all products to the maximum.
To make fish soup with barley, we need the following products.
The first step is to cook the broth. To do this, put parts of our fish in a saucepan and fill it with water. We put on the stove and cook our broth after boiling over low heat for about 25 minutes. If foam appears, remove it with a slotted spoon.
While the broth is preparing, prepare the vegetables. Dice the potatoes.
Chop the onions finely.
Grate the carrots.
And cut the green onions.
Our broth is boiled. We get the fish out of it. And we filter it with a sieve to make the broth clean, and most importantly, pitted.
Then we return the broth to the pan and put potatoes, onions, carrots and barley in it. If desired, the barley can be rinsed before this.
Add green onions and bay leaves. Cook until vegetables and barley are cooked (about 20 minutes).
Meanwhile, separate the fish meat from the bones.
And also finely chop the dill with parsley.
At the end of cooking, add fish meat and salt and pepper to taste.
And in the end we put fragrant greens.
That's all, fish soup with barley is ready! Pour into plates and eat. I really like this soup with brick bread, but this is already a matter of taste)))
