Prepare the necessary ingredients for your carp fish soup and let's start cooking!

Thoroughly clean carp fillets from scales, if present, rinse in water from all sides. Cut into small pieces. Peel potato tubers, rinse in water and cut into medium cubes. Place the sliced fillets in a saucepan. Pour in water and bring the contents of the container to a boil by placing on the stove. Remove the formed foam with a slotted spoon.

Add salt, bay leaves and boil for 10-15 minutes. Peel carrots and onions, rinse and cut vegetables into small cubes. Add to broth. Boil for another 5 minutes. Rinse and chop green onions, herbs and add to the pan along with black pepper. Boil for another 2-3 minutes and taste the soup. Turn off the heating.

Pour the carp fish soup into deep bowls and serve hot. You can supplement the soup with sour cream of any fat content, mayonnaise: lean or fat.
