Cod fish soup is a light, low-calorie dish. To make it a little more satisfying, I lightly fried the onions and carrots, this also gave the soup a slightly sweet taste. When serving, you can add a lemon circle to each plate if desired.
Ingredients
Cod fillet - 400 g
Potatoes - 300 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Onions - 60 g
Small tomato - 1 pc.
Bay leaf - 1 pc.
Salt and pepper to taste
Dill or parsley - a few twigs
Garlic - 1 clove
Lean oil - 1 tbsp.

Step by step recipe with photo
Prepare the required cod fillet fish soup products. Peel and wash onions, carrots, potatoes and garlic. Defrost the cod fillet beforehand.
Cut the potatoes into small pieces, pour half a 2-liter pot of water, place the potatoes in it. After boiling, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Pour a little refined oil into the pan, lightly fry chopped onions and carrots in it.
Transfer the fried vegetables to a saucepan, add the chopped tomato, cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Cut the cod into slices 2 centimeters thick, put in the ear, add water from the kettle to the top of the pan. Place the bay leaf and crushed garlic clove with the fish. Cook the cod for no longer than 3-4 minutes.
Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste, add chopped fresh dill and turn off the stove immediately. Leave under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
Catch the garlic and bay leaf and discard, pour the cod fish soup into plates and invite your family to the dinner table.
