Cauliflower is a unique vegetable. It contains 2 times more protein than its white "sister", and in terms of the content of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, it bypasses many other vegetables.
To improve the taste of cauliflower soup, it is better to cook it in vegetable broth or broth from beans, potatoes, cereals. Prepare all the ingredients for the soup.
Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences, soak in salt water for 5 minutes, rinse.
Grate the carrots.
Cut the bell pepper and tomato into small cubes.
In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the vegetable oil and fry the carrots, then add the pepper, fry everything together.
As soon as the vegetables are passaged, add washed lentils to them, pour in hot water or vegetable broth, cook for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, add cauliflower and tomato to a saucepan, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, put bay leaf, black pepper, salt, cook for 5-7 minutes. Cover the pot with a towel, let the soup brew. Sprinkle with your favorite herbs before serving.
