Making broccoli soup for a child is not difficult at all. I have a granddaughter, so I often have to cook baby food. Everyone knows about the benefits of broccoli; children can add this cabbage to complementary foods from 9 months.
Children's broccoli soup can be prepared with both vegetable and meat broth. In addition to broccoli, I also put carrots and onions in this soup and always add very little rice.
Some mothers fry onions and carrots in oil and then add them to their soup. I cook vegetables in soup, I don't fry them.
If the child is small, it is better to puree the finished soup in a blender. Older children can eat soup with vegetable pieces in it.

Cut the onion into small cubes. Peel and grate the carrots on a medium grater.
Add the chopped vegetables to the stockpot.
Pour in rice. I always add rice to baby soups to thicken the soup and make it less runny.
If you do not add rice to the soup, then add twice as many vegetables for this amount of broth.
Usually the broth is already salty. If you are making soup with water, add salt to the water to taste.
Cook the soup over medium heat for 15 minutes, until the rice is cooked.
Then add broccoli cabbage to the soup, after washing it and disassembling it into small inflorescences.
Cook the soup for another 10 minutes and remove from heat. Broccoli soup for the child is ready.
There are two options for serving baby broccoli soup. For older children, you can serve soup with pieces of vegetables.
For babies, this soup is more suitable in a pureed version. To do this, simply puree the soup in a blender.
