An easy-to-prepare recipe for a lean salad of fresh cabbage with mushrooms.
Cabbage - 300 g

Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Tomato sauce - 3-4 tablespoons
Olives - 10 pcs.
Capers (fruits) - 5-6 pcs.

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp.

It is very possible to cook a hodgepodge during fasting, moreover, it will be no less tasty than with meat and smoked meats. It also seems to me that a hodgepodge of fresh cabbage without meat should really appeal to vegetarians - a hearty, tasty and externally beautiful dish - it seems to be the first, but it seems to be an appetizer.
To make a lean hodgepodge of fresh cabbage, take the necessary foods. Vegetables should be washed under running water and dried.
First you need to pour boiling water over dried mushrooms, cover with a lid and let them swell for 10-15 minutes.
Cut the onions into cubes, fry in vegetable oil for several minutes.
Add chopped carrots and champignons, fry all together for 5 minutes.
Add chopped celery.
Chop the cabbage, add to the rest of the vegetables, add a little water, stew the vegetables for another 5 minutes.
Squeeze the dried mushrooms, do not drain the water in which they swelled, it is very fragrant and tasty, then add it to the hodgepodge. Cut the mushrooms into slices, add to the pan, mix.
Transfer the fried vegetables to a saucepan, pour in about 1 liter of water, and also add the water in which the dried mushrooms have swelled.
Then you need to add your favorite tomato sauce - if it is a little spicy, the hodgepodge will turn out to be even tastier. We put it on the stove. When the hodgepodge starts to boil, remove all the foam and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add capers, stir and cook for another 5-7 minutes. For acid, you can add a little caper marinade, it will make the hodgepodge much tastier.
Olives are added at the very end of cooking. Salt and pepper the solyanka to taste, add a little sugar and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Chop the herbs, add to the hodgepodge, turn off the stove, cover the pan with a lid and let the hodgepodge brew for at least 20 minutes.
The next day the hodgepodge will taste delicious.
When serving, place a slice of lemon in a plate and garnish with fresh herbs. Lean hodgepodge of fresh cabbage is ready. Enjoy!
