We prepare an exquisite puree soup from simple products according to the recipe of the famous chef Gordon Ramsay.

Ingredients

Cauliflower - 1-1.2 kg

Potatoes - 2-4 pcs.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Chicken or vegetable broth - 1-1.2 l

Milk - 400 ml

Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Butter - 20 g

Cream 33-35% - 100 ml

Salt, pepper - to taste

I saw the recipe for this soup in the book of the famous chef Gordon Ramsay. Everything is extremely simple, clear and inexpensive.

The soup will be amazing! Cabbage lovers (anyone) will appreciate it.

Oil. The chef advises adding truffle oil to the soup when serving. I can say that it is right here, but … such oil is very expensive and it is not always possible to find it, so you can safely replace truffle oil with olive oil.

Bouillon. It should be either vegetable or chicken. I used a concentrated chicken broth (in the photo it is in the form of a cube).

So, for making cauliflower soup from Gordon Ramsay, we will prepare the products according to the list.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes, disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences, chop the onion at random.

We put all this in a saucepan, into which we add butter and olive oil. We cook everything together over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. The vegetables should not darken, but should be soft enough.

Then pour in the broth and milk, bring to a boil. Cook all vegetables until soft, 15 minutes. Salt.

Then add the cream and puree with the hand blender. Add a mixture of peppers.

Actually, the soup is ready. But Gordon advises serving it with croutons.

Cut the bread into cubes and fry in olive oil until golden brown. Here I was self-willed, adding a mixture of herbs to the croutons. I can say that I was right.
