I accidentally bought dry green peas. I must say that it practically does not exist on sale. In terms of taste, it is no different from yellow, but it cooks a little faster. Such peas make a nice puree soup. In general, as in the song "He was green."

To prepare a soup-puree from dry green peas, take: dry green peas, potatoes, green onions, sunflower oil, cream 15%, chicken broth, salt, black pepper and, if desired, hard cheese.

Pour chicken broth into a saucepan and add peas. I washed it well in advance and filled it with cold water for several hours. But they say that you can do without soaking.

Bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil and remove the copious foam. Reduce the fire and cook the peas until tender.

Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them arbitrarily. Add to the pot to the peas.
