Very simple and tasty green borscht in meat broth with sorrel, parsley and dill. Grandma's recipe. Recomend for everybody!
Ingredients
Meat broth - 2 l
Potatoes - 3 pcs.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Sorrel - 1 bunch
Parsley, dill - 1 small bunch
Boiled eggs - 5 pcs.
Salt, pepper - to taste
For filing:
Sour cream, green onions

Green borscht with sorrel is a tasty, healthy and very simple dish. Such borscht was cooked for me in childhood by my grandmother and since that time it has been one of the favorite and traditional dishes in our family. Each housewife cooks it in her own way, I also sometimes experiment, making some changes, but usually I use the traditional recipe, which I am going to share with you.
To prepare borscht, we need meat broth. It can be prepared from beef, pork or chicken. I have beef broth this time. We also need potatoes, onions, carrots, sorrel, boiled eggs, salt and pepper.
Cut the onion into cubes.
Rub the carrots on a grater.
Add onions and carrots to the hot broth. Cook for 15 minutes.
Cut the potatoes into cubes.
Add the potatoes to the pot. Cook until tender. At the end, pepper and salt.
Wash sorrel, sort through, tear off the tails and cut.
Add sorrel and chopped parsley to the pan and let it boil.
Add the diced eggs.
Let the borscht brew and pour into a plate. We love to eat this borscht with sour cream and serve green onions and black bread with it.
