Borsch with chicken in a slow cooker turns out to be very colorful and tasty, and most importantly, it does not require increased attention to itself, because the kitchen assistant will do everything for you. Due to the simmering in a closed container, the products convey all their taste, color and aroma to the dish. Chicken borscht turns out in such a way that it is impossible to stop at one portion of it - you want to ask for more.

When preparing a dish in spring, be sure to add fresh vegetables: cabbage, potatoes, carrots, etc. If you don't have fresh garlic, 2-3 cloves available, then you can easily replace them with a dried version - garlic flakes or ground dried garlic. Instead of drumsticks, you can use any part of the chicken: wings, fillets, chicken legs, etc. Remember that poultry takes much longer to cook than store poultry, broiler - take this into account when cooking.

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and set the "Fry" mode on the display for 15 minutes. Rinse the chicken drumsticks, pat dry with napkins and place in a bowl. Close the lid of the appliance and fry them on all sides, turning from time to time.

While the drumsticks are roasting, peel the vegetables and rinse them. Cut the onion into small cubes, and grate the beets and carrots on a coarse grater, but in separate bowls. Separate 2-3 tbsp from the beet mass. - they will be added at the very end to give the dish a colorful color.

Add the vegetable slices to the bowl 5 minutes before the drumstick ends.

Then switch the mode from "Fry" to "Soup" on the display for about 25 minutes. Pour in hot water, add salt and bay leaves. Cover the appliance with a lid and boil everything for 10 minutes.

Peel and rinse potatoes, cut into large cubes. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage and chop it.

Add everything that is sliced to the multicooker bowl - don't worry about the color of the dish, as the beet mass will be added at the end. At the same time, add dried garlic to the bowl. Boil for 10 minutes.

5 minutes before turning off cooking, add chopped beets and granulated sugar, vinegar to the bowl. The acid will prevent the color from digesting.

When the beep sounds, your multicooker chicken borscht will be completely ready! Taste it.

Pour the first course into deep bowls, placing the boiled drumstick in each of them. Serve with sour cream, mayonnaise or croutons.

Enjoy it!
