Potato patties are a delicious vegetable dish that can be served for breakfast or dinner on their own or in addition to meat dishes. Such cutlets are delicious both hot and cold, although hot they serve as a side dish, and when cold they are more likely a snack. Such cutlets are prepared simply and quickly. For their preparation, you can use mashed potatoes, which are left, say, from dinner or breakfast.

To prepare mashed potato cutlets in a frying pan, take potatoes, eggs, flour, fresh dill, butter, salt, pepper, nutmeg, sunflower oil, bread crumbs and a little milk.

Boil the potatoes, drain the water, add a little milk and butter to the potatoes, stir and cool. Add spices, finely chopped herbs to the cold puree and beat in an egg. Stir with your hands. Look at the consistency, if necessary, add another egg. Add flour to the potatoes and mix again.

Form small patties and roll in breadcrumbs. To be honest, I don't really like breading in breadcrumbs, I tried it with flour before - it's better, but it's a matter of taste. It was just interesting to try potato cutlets in bread crumbs.

Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan and put cutlets for frying.

After frying one side of the cutlet, turn over.

Put the finished cutlets on paper napkins to remove excess oil.

Sour cream sauce with herbs can be served with potato cutlets.
