I have known the recipe for potato meatballs since childhood, they cooked together with my mother. For their preparation, both "yesterday's" mashed potatoes and boiled potatoes in uniforms or without are suitable. I especially liked the meatballs combined with mushroom gravy. Also, mashed potatoes can be served with any sour cream sauce or simply with sour cream.
Ingredients:
Boil potatoes in a uniform, cool, peel. We pass it together with the onion through a meat grinder, add the egg and salt.
Mix thoroughly and form the balls with our hands moistened with water. We do not just collect them into a cake, but also beat them against our palms so that they do not fall apart during frying.
Put it in a frying pan well heated with butter.
Fry over medium heat on both sides. Potato meatballs do not need breading; frying potatoes has a tasty and appetizing crust.
Potato balls can be served with a variety of sauces, just sour cream, gravies, or with herbs and vegetables.
