I don’t know about you, but I am a big lover of vegetables stewed in cream. Today's dish is one of the simplest and most delicious dishes that can be prepared with zucchini and potatoes.

I prefer to cook stewed zucchini with potatoes in cream, having previously fried the vegetables until golden brown, and then combine them together and simmer in cream, then the dish turns out to be much more aromatic, with a slight hint of haze in the taste.

Prepare all foods. The amount of potatoes and zucchini is not critical. You can take an equal amount of vegetables, put the garlic to your taste, dill will do both dried and fresh.

Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes.

Pour 1 tbsp into the pan. vegetable oil, warm it up and fry the potatoes over high heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Transfer the potatoes to a plate.

Cut the zucchini into cubes the same size as the potatoes.

If the zucchini is not young, it is better to peel it off and remove the seeds, and only then cut into cubes.

Add the remaining oil to the pan where we fried the potatoes and fry the courgettes for 4-5 minutes, also until golden brown, stirring.

Add potatoes to the courgettes.

Pass the garlic through a press and add to the pan.

Salt vegetables, add black pepper.

Pour the cream into the pan. Cover and simmer vegetables in cream over low heat for 15-20 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished dish with dill.

Stewed zucchini with potatoes in cream are ready. Serve the dish in portions with fresh vegetable salad or homemade pickles.
