Juicy, aromatic zucchini with garlic, which are stewed in a pan, are both dietary and very tasty!

Zucchini - 250 g

Garlic - 1-2 cloves

Dill - 10 g

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Provencal herbs - 1 pinch

Salt to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

You can, of course, fry the zucchini in batter, and then sprinkle them with garlic, but I really love the dietary version of zucchini with garlic, preferring to just stew the zucchini with dill, Provencal herbs, and garlic, of course!

For this recipe, it is worth taking very young zucchini, in which the seeds have not yet formed. Fresh dill can be replaced with dried, you can also take dried garlic, but that's all - at your request.

We will cook stewed zucchini with garlic from the products that you see in the photo. I'll make a reservation right away that you may not have to add water, since young zucchini will let out a lot of juice.

Wash the zucchini and cut off the tails at both ends. Cut each zucchini into slices 2-3 mm thick.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the zucchini over high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to the zucchini.

Also add some aromatic Provencal herbs, literally a pinch.

Pour in 1-2 tbsp. water. Reduce heat to medium and simmer zucchini for 10 minutes.

Peel and chop the garlic.

Add garlic to the zucchini.

Rinse the dill under running water, dry it with a paper towel and chop finely with a knife.

Add the dill to the pan and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Fragrant and juicy stewed zucchini with garlic are ready!
