Very tasty and hearty side dishes are obtained from bulgur. I want to bring to your attention a recipe for making bulgur with frozen vegetables, you can serve this dish as an independent one, or with various meat appetizers.
So let's take products like in the photo. Now you can buy mixtures of frozen vegetables in almost every store, in my mixture: carrots, peas and corn.
Take a cauldron or a wok and heat it over the fire. Melt the butter.
Pour dry cereals into oil. And fry it for 2 minutes until a nutty aroma appears.
Add frozen vegetables.
We mix everything and pour a glass of boiling water (if you want to get a crumbly porridge, like in pilaf, then a glass of water is enough). So on high heat fry under the lid, about 5 minutes. Salt.
Next, reduce the heat by half, close the lid and simmer for 10 minutes. In the end, mix everything and collect our porridge as if in a slide. Turn off the fire. We leave it under the lid to stand.
We lay out bulgur with vegetables on plates and help ourselves!
