Celery is not only very tasty and aromatic, but also a very healthy vegetable. In cooking, they use both the root, and the petioles, and the leaves. Celery root is a real storehouse of vitamins, it contains vitamins B, C, E, as well as potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, phosphorus.
So let's make fried celery. You can choose the spices to your taste, but keep in mind that celery has a rather bright aroma. We will prepare the necessary ingredients.
First, let's prepare the lemon juice.
The celery root needs to be peeled, and you need to hurry with this, as the pulp quickly darkens.
We will cut the celery into convenient chunks, I like to fry in cubes.
Put the chopped celery in a bowl, pour with lemon juice so that the pieces do not darken. Lemon goes very well with aromatic celery to taste.
Stir and leave for 5 minutes to make the aromas "friends". Pour vegetable oil into the pan, fry the celery until tender. It must be borne in mind that celery cooks quite quickly, do not overcook. I added a little dried rosemary when frying, and a little salt at the end of cooking.
