An unusual side dish of rice and herbs. The more greenery, the more interesting the result!

Greens - from 30 g (to taste)
Frozen spinach - 2 tablespoons
Universal seasoning - to taste
Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
Garlic - 1 clove
Water - 2 glasses
Salt to taste

Probably everyone cooks rice for a side dish, but few people know that its taste can be decorated with a variety of spices and vegetables - I want to share with you a recipe for green rice. My family loves it when I cook it as a side dish with stews or fried fish, and it can also be served as a stand-alone dish - a great meal for fasting people.
In this recipe, it is best to use long-grain rice, it always turns out to be crumbly, rice to rice, but if for some reason you do not like it, take round-grain rice, just rinse it in several waters before cooking so that excess starch is washed off and rice does not turned into a mess. Add absolutely any greens: the more, the tastier and more aromatic the dish will be.
So, for cooking green rice (with herbs), we will prepare all the necessary products according to the list of ingredients.
Heat a frying pan with olive oil, peel the garlic, crush it with the flat side of a knife and fry until golden brown.
Throw away the fried garlic, it was needed only for flavor.
If the garlic is not thrown away, it will give an unpleasant bitterness to the dish.
Pour rice into a frying pan with aromatic oil and fry a little, 2-3 minutes is enough.
Advice! Before cooking, be sure to read the cooking instructions - you may need to rinse the cereals.
Add water, bring to a boil, cover and cook until tender over medium heat.
Add spinach 5 minutes before cooking. If you have fresh spinach, this is generally ideal, but it must be washed beforehand and can be immediately sent to rice, not necessarily chopped.
Wash the greens, chop finely and put them in rice, add salt and universal seasoning.
Mix and heat for 5 minutes.
Green rice is ready. Enjoy your meal!
