Step by step recipe with photo

In my family, stewed cabbage is a dish that is cooked quite often, and all year round. Of course, if you cook all the time according to the same recipe, you may get bored, but I always change something, experiment with additives and spices. With such manipulations, one seemingly the same dish looks completely different. I cooked cabbage with mushrooms several times, but I did not add bulgur to this dish, I decided to try it. It doesn't even make sense to write that it turned out very tasty, but also satisfying! Such a dish can be independent, and for those who are fasting, I advise you to add it to your menu. If you have meat eaters in your family, then stewed cabbage with mushrooms and bulgur will be your side dish.

Now let's cook! Let's take all the necessary ingredients from the list.

Dice the onion, grate the carrots.

Cut the champignons into slices.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the onions and carrots in it, then add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.

Add bulgur and hop-suneli to the pan.

Chop the cabbage and add it after the bulgur. Season with salt and pepper. Add 60 ml water to the pan, reduce heat and cover the pan. Cook for 10 minutes.

Then add 100 ml of tomato juice to the cabbage and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Chop the dill and garlic, add them to the finished dish, mix and let it brew under the lid for 10 minutes.

Serve delicious stewed cabbage with mushrooms and bulgur to the table.

Enjoy your meal!
