Delicate bulgur goes well with sweet corn. The dish complements the chicken perfectly. You can also serve it on its own.

Since bulgur is still an outlandish product for the layman, all dishes made from it seem unusual and interesting. Today we will prepare an even more amazing dish from this exquisite cereal. And at the same time, very simple and quick - it takes less than an hour to cook. So, we will make bulgur with canned corn, of course - it's easier this way. As a spice, I will add dried mint to the cereal to make it completely original. In fact, mint is certainly not felt, but this is an interesting experiment. In general, we need the following ingredients to cook bulgur with corn.
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
Put in a frying pan with butter and sauté for 3-5 minutes over low heat until soft.
Pour the bulgur into the pan, stir and heat for another 3-5 minutes so that the cereal absorbs the oil and turns a little brown.
Now fill the contents of the pan with hot water, add salt, pepper to taste, and dried mint if desired. Also, simmer over low heat under the lid until the cereal is ready (about 10 minutes) - the bulgur will absorb all the liquid and increase in volume.
It's time to add canned corn to the bulgur, we also use the liquid. Pour in chopped fresh herbs.
Stir and heat for another 3-5 minutes over low heat under a lid. The finished dish can be left to infuse for 10 minutes, removed from heat.
Bulgur with corn is ready! Serve to the table as a side dish or as an independent dish. Enjoy your meal!
