The beauty of bulgur cannot be overestimated - it is a delicate cereal that does not need to be washed or soaked, and can be cooked in a matter of minutes. Today I offer you a recipe for bulgur with tomatoes and tomato paste - a very juicy and bright garnish both in taste and in color. You can serve such a dish as an independent dish - also a great option.

To prepare tomato bulgur, we need the following ingredients.

Cut the tomato into medium-sized cubes.

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. We also clean the garlic and chop it finely with a knife, you can use a special press.

Put onion and garlic in a frying pan with butter and simmer over low heat until transparent.

Pour in bulgur, mix and heat together until the cereal is golden.

Then put the tomato and tomato paste, and add spices to taste (salt, pepper, basil).

Pour hot water over the contents of the pan and stir. We put on fire and simmer the dish for about 15 minutes until the cereals are ready.

At the end of cooking, add fresh dill. Stir, close the lid and leave to brew for 10 minutes.

Tomato bulgur is ready! Serve as a main course or as a side dish for meat / chicken. Enjoy your meal!
