This pie has several names: Tsar's cheesecake, Royal cheesecake, Crumb pie and maybe these are not all of its names) In any case, it is worth it to cook it at least once. I advise you to use high-quality natural cottage cheese, as this affects not only the taste, but also our health. This dish has firmly settled in our family for its ease of preparation and wonderful taste.
Ingredients for Crumb Pie:
We take the butter straight from the refrigerator, add flour and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Rub everything into a crumb with our hands, if the crumb is too sticky, then add a little more flour.
For the filling, combine cottage cheese, eggs and the remaining sugar. For taste and aroma, you can add vanillin, zest or cinnamon, who likes what, or add nothing)
Using an immersion blender, make a homogeneous mass from this. If you don't have such an assistant, then you can stir with a spoon, it will just take longer.
Put 2/3 of the crumb volume on the bottom of the baking dish.
