  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken a rotisserie chicken works perfectly
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese divided

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Ensure your cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and hot sauce until smooth. Fold in the shredded chicken and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Spread the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate or a similar-sized baking dish. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.

Notes

For a smoother dip, shred your own cheese from a block. Pre-shredded cheese can contain anti-caking agents.
