Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 package cocktail sausages (14 oz), patted dry
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning Optional, for topping

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Parchment Paper
  • 1 Small Bowl

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 smaller, thinner triangles.
  3. Place one cocktail sausage on the wide end of a dough strip and roll it up. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat for all sausages.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, packed brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Brush the glaze mixture generously over the tops of the rolled pigs in a blanket. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning, if using. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. They are best enjoyed warm.

Notes

Make-Ahead Tip: You can assemble the pigs in a blanket (without the glaze) up to a day in advance. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Brush with the glaze just before baking.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
