- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chopped fresh dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
- Season the salmon fillets generously on all sides with salt and black pepper.
- Spoon the lemon dill mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet. Top each fillet with a few thin lemon slices.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) at its thickest part.
