Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz Snickers bars chopped
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips for coating
  • 1/2 cup peanuts finely chopped, for coating

Equipment

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Electric mixer
  • 1 Spatula

Method

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, and beat until light and fluffy.
  2. Gently fold in the chopped Snickers bars with a spatula until evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap and form it into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  4. Combine the mini chocolate chips and chopped peanuts in a shallow dish. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the mixture, pressing gently to coat completely. Serve immediately with your favorite dippers.

Notes

For the best flavor, make the cheese ball a day in advance to allow the flavors to meld together.
Let the cheese ball sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving to make it easier for dipping.
