Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 24-cup mini muffin tin with non-stick spray.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, dry ranch seasoning mix, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
- Gently press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Bake for 5 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove the tin from the oven. Fill each wonton cup with the taco meat mixture.
- Top each bite generously with shredded cheese. Return to the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the wonton edges are golden brown.
- Let cool for a minute before removing from the muffin tin. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Tip 1: For extra crispy wonton cups, lightly spray the edges of the wrappers with cooking spray before the final bake.
Tip 2: Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
Tip 3: These can be reheated in an air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes to restore their crispiness.
